Christmas 2022 Newsletter

As our festive season approaches, the committee is taking this opportunity to give you a wee update.

Gardening:

Finally, after some difficulty with finding a suitable gardener, we have procured the services of Amy who will be tending to our ongoing garden maintenance.

Lawn Mowing:

One of the major issues with the current weather has been the growth of our lawns and our gardens. Keeping on top of this has been difficult because of the wet underfoot conditions, but we are doing our best to try and stay on top of the grass.  t has been difficult for our contractor to operate his machinery in these conditions. We must acknowledge the problem that our contractor faces - like all employers today – in trying to find staff with the required work ethic and responsibility to handle the work.

Mulch:

There is a pile of mulch at North Park which you are welcome to take, so help yourselves to as much as you need. Any residue will be used in Pocket Park.

Bench Seats:

We're progressing with the installation of bench seats. We talked to the Taupo District Council about the possibility of obtaining suitable seating from them, but that has not worked out, so we're returning to the proposal to organise the seating ourselves. We hope to have three bench seats organised and installed early in the new year.

Speed Limit reminder:

With the festive season upon us and the increased visitor numbers and traffic volumes could you please pass on the message to your visitors to be conscious of speed within the subdivision.

Subdivision Update:

Investigations are progressing well, and we will have a further update for you in the new year.

New Year Catch-Up:

Drinks and nibbles evening in Pocket Park is in the planning stage.

Your Residents Association Committee would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year – have a safe holiday and enjoy time with your families/friends. All the best wishes for 2023

With kind regard

Kim Manunui

Hi, I’m Kim and I work with a great team to help individuals, as well as small and not so small businesses get their message, product and services to the world using digital media and creating wonderful websites that don’t cost the earth.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.

The digital world is never static and neither are we.

And I say ‘we’ because I work with an awesome group of talented people who I gather together as required to complete a project.  Whatever your business, not-for-profit or individual needs are we gather the best team to get the job done.

Collaboratively we are creative, share sustainable values and work hard for great outcomes because that’s the buzz of satisfaction that drives us.

If you have an audience and market to reach, we can make that happen. Creative design, words that work and smart behind the scenes stuff that cuts through the online noise. We’ll design your website and then build it. We’ll manage the content as well as all your hosting needs. We can handle your online advertising so you get noticed,
and we’ll manage your social media presence so you get the clicks, likes and engagement to grow your business. All within the budget you set, because none of this needs to cost the earth.  And the job doesn’t stop when your website goes live. We are your virtual business partner.
